Check your pair.
Read the footwear manufacturer’s care instructions. Only machine wash if explicitly permitted. A wash bag does not make every shoe machine washable.

Prep it properly.
Brush off loose dirt. Follow instructions for laces and insoles. Check the bag measurements against your footwear and close the zip without force.

Follow the label.
Use only permitted detergent, wash settings and drying methods. If footwear and bag instructions conflict, do not machine wash.
What if machine washing isn’t allowed?
Use the cleaning method recommended by your footwear manufacturer. If you are unsure, ask them before washing.
Can I tumble dry my trainers?
Do not assume so. Follow your footwear manufacturer’s drying instructions.
